SAMMY MEDINA

My mission is to glorify God by using the creativity He placed in me from a young age. I believe every life is created with purpose and meaning, and through my crafts, I hope to protect and honor that gift of life. In a world that often forgets the value of life, I want my work to serve something greater.
I wholeheartedly donate 10% of every art sale to Preborn!, a Christ-centered, pro-life organization dedicated to supporting women facing unplanned pregnancies. Preborn! provides free ultrasounds, counseling, and practical resources to help mothers choose life and feel empowered in their decision. By purchasing a journal or snail mail, you are not only supporting a creative mission but also contributing to the protection of the unborn and the support of women in need.

From a young age, I was drawn to creating with my hands — painting and crafting. But like many, I believed the only “real” path was a traditional 9–5 job, so I never considered art as more than a hobby. As the oldest of four, I grew up taking care of my siblings from a young age. I later worked briefly at a kindergarten and spent many years in the U.S. as a live-in nanny, which felt like a natural path because of my nurturing nature and love for little ones. Later, I transitioned into real estate — a good job, but not something I was passionate about. When people asked about “my why,” I didn’t have an answer. I was just moving through life without true direction.
Everything changed when I met my husband, who lead me into a deeper relationship with Jesus. The closer I walked with God, the clearer my purpose became. He reminded me that He plants gifts within each of us — not for us to hide, but to use boldly for His glory. For the first time, creating art felt like the right path. My work is now deeply rooted in faith and inspired by Christ. Every journal and piece of snail mail I create is a small way to honor God and share creativity and words that may inspire and strengthen others in their faith.
